Many of our clients use Google Analytics to analyse traffic to their sites and understand user activity once they’re there. As you may be aware, the current version of GA (Universal Analytics) will stop receiving data from websites on the 1st July 2023.
The new system, GA4, will be Google’s sole means of gaining website usage stats from that point on. Crowd have been familiarising ourselves with GA4 for the last year and have got to know the platform with deployments and optimisations for many of our clients. It’s a different tool and takes some getting used to both in set up and understanding data.
We have previously written a guide with information on how best to prepare for the new change, coming into plan on 1st July. See the link below:
The Maketers Guide To Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Read our guide to understand the new programme, why the switch is happening, how to read the new data and what this means for your business.
It’s not too early to get ready and we recommend running both Universal Analytics and GA4 simultaneously to help understand how data is captured and to get used to the new environment.
So why not get in touch to find out how we can get you set up with GA4 and find out how data can transform your business processes and make your marketing more efficient.
