The airport of the future

Managing Director (UAE)

In 50 years, Dubai International Airport has gone from a dusty landing strip in the desert to the world’s busiest airport. With such rapid growth, being prepared for the future is essential, so planning is well underway not just for the next decade, but well into 2050 and beyond!

Forward thinking provides an opportunity to go back to the drawing board to resolve those irritating travel bug bears and make a customer-friendly travel experience.

With such ambitious plans, the grand unveiling required an engaging online experience which conveyed the key points quickly whilst providing facts and figures for those that like to dig a little deeper.

We created a site that uses full-screen video to deliver the main points in an impactful and engaging way. As the visitor watches, further information is signposted should they want to get more detail on the topics being discussed in the video. The visitor can make a diversion into this content, before returning to where they left the video.

Facts, figures, graphs and tables jump off the screen (not literally) with animation and beautifully clear presentation. Data doesn’t need to be dull!

Of course the site is responsive providing access to the ‘Vision of the Future’ no matter where you are.

As our relationship with Dubai Airports enters its second year, we’re being constantly inspired to produce creative work that both client and agency are proud of.
