Team Crowd test themselves in and out of the office, this particular blog is focussed on what Crowd got up to last weekend. The UK team took on ‘The Beast’ challenge, a 12 mile run atop of the Jurassic Coastline. This was the third or fourth time for some of the hardcore members of the team, but we were delighted to welcome some first-time runners who didn’t know what was in store.

Graham, Laura, Jamie, Hannah, Jack and Remy all tested their limits and completed the challenge despite the elements throwing everything they had at them.

t was acknowledged by the organisers that conditions were the worst in the events’ history with thick, slippery mud bringing the pace down and a constant lashing rain soaking everyone from the start. However, everyone completed the challenge and Remy is now the proud owner of a course record… being the slowest ever person to complete the course in its 25-year history.

This is the latest in a number of challenges the team have faced; in July, Hannah and Sam took on the pier to pier swim, in Dubai our team got a sweat on at Bounce and in August, the UK team faced the 5km Gung-Ho inflatable obstacle course.

Challenges such as ‘The Beast’ are not compulsory for the team, but they offer an opportunity to get together as a group out of work and join in some friendly competition. The teams ‘work hard / play hard’ attitude is a reflection of the creative work Crowd do, pushing each other to test the industries creative limits.

Many challenges await Team Crowd, both in and out of the office, but one thing is for sure, the team will give 110% whatever it is.
