Lake County in Northern California has recently launched a new destination marketing campaign produced by Crowd.
Won in a five-way competitive pitch, the campaign is something of a feather in our cap – and proof that geography is no obstacle to the enterprising digital agency. Highlighting Lake County’s stunning landscapes and year-round appeal through a compelling visual and experiential strategy, the campaign combines social media and online advertising to great effect, as well as providing a global showcase for local businesses in Lake County to connect with visitors.
Situated between the Californian coast and the Central Valley in the Pacific Coast mountain range, Lake County enjoys a uniquely Mediterranean microclimate, with a lush, vibrant Spring; a long, dry Summer; warm days and cool nights in Autumn; and occasional Winter snow in the mountains. With glorious, unspoilt countryside, some charming towns and (unsurprisingly given its name!) some truly spectacular lakes, Lake County has long been something of an undiscovered gem – now, thanks to Crowd’s new destination marketing campaign, all that’s set to change.
