Team Crowd made an early morning trip up to the wilds of Hampshire for another cold and muddy run around the army’s training grounds. The Grim Challenge is an 8 mile cross country run through mud and freezing waist deep puddles. Though they’re only waist deep if you don’t fall over.
Fuelled with coffee and bacon sandwiches, the team lined up with the 1300 other plucky souls who were perhaps wondering whether this was the best way of spending a Sunday morning in December.
Knowing that every step was a step closer to the end, the team recorded very respectable times considering the varying degrees of training put in beforehand.
Crowd put themselves through this on behalf of their clients. Rather than spending money on Christmas gifts, Crowd make a charitable contribution for each one through the entry fee for this event which goes to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
