The UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) will hold the UK-China Advertising Business Exchange Salon at an ‘in-person’ event on 30th June 2021 in China. The event will be held in conjunction with the UK Advertising Exports Group (UKAEG) and the Shanghai International Advertising Festival (SHIAF).
This event will invite 20 emerging Chinese brands in retail, food & drink, gaming, technology and sports industries that have a strong desire to expand globally.
Crowd will join the event to represent UK creative agencies, and to build up relationships with Chinese brands to better support their global expansion.
As managing director of Crowd China, I will join a panel at the event, to discuss how to help those brands grow rapidly, both in China and abroad. My talk will help UK agencies to better understand and support Chinese brands in order to break into and succeed in the wider global markets.
With first hand knowledge of the Chinese market and being ‘on the ground’ in China, UK companies can make use of Crowd’s experience to navigate cultural and technical differences. This can ensure that companies looking to enter China or those looking to grow from China get it right first time.
