After months of intense, pre-work training, the Crowd Cruzers braved the English Channel to take on the 1.4 mile open water challenge on 7th August.
Whilst taking on the biggest charity swim in Europe, swimming from Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier, Crowd raised money for a very important cause to help the fight against heart disease.
The charity swim was originally supposed to take place on 10th July but due to bad weather (typical England) the challenge had to be postponed, which meant more time to train and it certainly paid off!
Crowd MD Jamie completed the swim in 0:42:14, Jack finished in 0:38:02 and Remy, who often slept through his alarm when they had an early morning training session, managed to do it in 1:10:32.
After the swim, the Crowd Cruzers treated themselves to well deserved all-you-can-eat buffet. Jack saw this as an opportunity to refuel himself for an afternoon of kite surfing… crazy!
Team Crowd are always looking for the next big challenge, so keep an eye on our social channels to see what we’re taking on next….
