On November 10th, Crowd is working with BIMA, WWF and alongside other agencies to collaborate and host a climate innovation event at Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth. The Crowd team is passionate about supporting environmental causes and love the opportunity to use our many marketing skills within our team to help. With COP26 happening this week, there is not a more appropriate time to get environmentally innovative.
For this event, the students are given the challenging question of “How can we use technology and digital solutions to make it easier for people to understand the true environmental footprint of products and services, allowing households, schools, universities and businesses to make choices that are good for the planet?”
The students will need to consider what sorts of technology they will use, for what environmental purpose, how to portray that message and then pitch their idea to the panel. This event is a great way to educate the school about the environmental issues and to see the amazing ideas the younger generation can come up with.
Crowd’s Front-end Developer, Nathan Akrill will be representing Crowd and will be involved on the day to advise and inspire the students to come up with a creative and technical solution. We hope to inspire the students into the world of digital careers.
