Crowd developed 1stbyte.co.uk, Winner of Best Website at The Print, Design and Marketing Awards 2013.
1st Byte’s new digital showcase has just won Best Website at The Print, Design and Marketing Awards 2013, a prestigious multi-media award ceremony that attracts the UK’s leading print, design and marketing professionals. This was a particularly impressive win given the calibre of the other nominees and the fact that the site was only launched three weeks before the ceremony itself.
For Crowd, it is a total pleasure to service clients whose commercial attitude (very much like our own) is that the-sky-is-possibly-not-the-limit. 1st Byte epitomise this positive attitude and with extensive and enthusiastic input from the country’s finest design and most experienced print creatives, the pressure was well and truly on to produce a website that reflected this print press’ stunning physical output.
“As an active and progressive member of the UK’s print community, 1st Byte wanted an innovative and informative website that showcased our work in a visually attractive and engaging manner. We are delighted with the website that Crowd has created and we feel that its strategic simplicity and intuitive information flow are the winning elements of this universally appealing and useful website. ” said Lawrence Dalton, Managing Director, 1st Byte.
“Being nominated for a number of the main categories at The Print, Design and Marketing Awards was fantastic in itself, but to win Best Website was superb because it demonstrates our expertise and commitment to the creation of excellent output, be it online or off. We will continue to work with Crowd and have plans to make our site one of the best digital print resources for UK and world-wide professionals in the marketing and design industries.”
The Print, Design and Marketing Awards 2013 was judged by media and production experts including Mark Cruise, Head of Print Management, BSkyB, Andrew Wilson, Photographer and Publisher, and Sharon D’Cruz, one of the UK’s leading marketing and PR consultants.
